About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse to primarily cover the Emergency Department at an acute care hospital in Dyersville, Iowa, with floating to Med/Surg as needed. The position is a 13-week travel contract with a night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The assignment is scheduled to start on November 9, 2026. Two openings are available. Travel pay is estimated at $2,340 per week; the local pay rate is $51 per hour for local candidates. VitalHire offers weekly direct deposit and a dedicated recruiter from submission through the nurse’s last shift. The company also assists with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Iowa RN license or multistate (compact) RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current PALS certification.
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of recent Emergency Department experience.
- Emergency Department and Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities
