About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Globe, Arizona. This role is ideal for a highly skilled ER nurse who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is comfortable handling critical and emergency situations independently. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required
  • Minimum recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
  • Must be comfortable taking on-call assignments
  • Flu vaccination required
  • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
  • Maximum of 3 requested time-off days permitted during the contract

Nice To Haves

  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions
  • Perform patient assessments, triage, and continuous monitoring
  • Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as required
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EMR system
  • Participate in required on-call coverage, including extended call shifts when needed
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and rapidly changing patient conditions
