About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Demonstrated experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in healthcare operations or a related field preferred.
  • Behavioral Health clinical experience preferred.
  • Expertise in EMR/EHR Systems: Proven experience administering, configuring, and optimizing electronic medical records, ideally within behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare sectors.
  • Workflow Mastery: A profound grasp of clinical operations, electronic documentation practices, and healthcare compliance/regulatory frameworks.
  • Project Leadership Skills: Demonstrated capability in managing concurrent technical projects, balancing budgets, and resolving complex system roadblocks.
  • Communication & Empathy: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the unique ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, encouraging guidance for clinical teams.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong problem-solving acumen, familiarity with IT ticketing workflows, and meticulous attention to detail regarding software testing and QA.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Systems: Partner with clinical, IT, quality, and finance teams to improve EMR workflows and outputs.
  • Manage Projects: Lead EMR initiatives from start to finish on time and within budget.
  • Test and Update: Oversee software updates and run thorough testing procedures.
  • Track and Report: Monitor project progress, manage risks, and update agency leaders.
  • Support Users: Triage IT tickets and managing demands based on agency priorities.
  • Train Staff: Design training materials, lead workshops, and educate team members.
  • Plan Strategy: Help shape future EMR enhancements and agency goals.
