About The Position

As a Safety Manager at EMR, you will support and strengthen the company’s Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) program. You will oversee safety and health initiatives across multiple facilities, ensure regulatory compliance, promote employee well-being, and help build a strong safety culture. The role works closely with regional leadership, site managers, and other members of the SHE team. It is full-time and on site, with regular travel between regional locations of up to 50%.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and hazard prevention.
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze information, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to travel regularly between regional locations, up to 50%.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of health and safety experience or relevant education.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification or other professional safety certifications.
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee regional safety and health initiatives and policies as part of EMR’s SHE program.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, and job observations to identify hazards and prevent workplace injuries.
Coordinate safety onboarding for new employees and provide ongoing safety training and guidance to employees and site managers.
Support incident investigations, identify root causes, and develop preventative strategies.
Monitor safety performance and maintain required documentation.
Work with regional leadership, management, and other SHE team members to address safety concerns, improve safety performance, and promote employee involvement in safety initiatives.
