About The Position
As a Rollback Driver at EMR, you will transport vehicles, containers, parts, and other materials, primarily on local routes throughout Minnesota. You will help ensure safe and reliable transportation while supporting the company’s metal recycling operations. The equipment used includes rollback and straight trucks. The role is full-time and year-round, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; nights and weekends are not required.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL.
- General knowledge of state and federal motor carrier regulations.
- General knowledge of truck and trailer mechanics.
- Strong commitment to safety, dependability, and customer service.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and handle materials as needed.
- Experience operating rollback or straight trucks.
- Experience driving in both rural and metro areas.
Responsibilities
- Transport vehicles from customer accounts, auctions, and customer properties.
- Haul containers, parts, batteries, and miscellaneous materials between accounts and EMR locations.
- Physically secure loads and assist with unloading materials as needed.
- Receive dispatch information and manage load details using company systems.
- Maintain regular communication with yard staff and dispatch.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
