About The Position
As a Rollback Driver at EMR, you will transport vehicles, containers, parts, and other materials, primarily on local routes throughout Minnesota. The role focuses on safe and reliable transportation using rollback and straight trucks. Drivers transport vehicles from customer accounts, auctions, and customer properties, and haul containers, parts, batteries, and miscellaneous materials between accounts and EMR locations. The position also involves securing loads, assisting with unloading, managing dispatch and load details in company systems, and communicating with yard staff and dispatch.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL.
- General knowledge of state and federal motor carrier regulations.
- General knowledge of truck and trailer mechanics.
- Strong commitment to safety, dependability, and customer service.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and handle materials as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating rollback or straight trucks.
- Experience driving in both rural and metro areas.
Responsibilities
- Transport vehicles from customer accounts, auctions, and customer properties.
- Haul containers, parts, batteries, and miscellaneous materials between accounts and EMR locations.
- Physically secure loads and assist with unloading materials as needed.
- Receive dispatch information and manage load details using company systems.
- Maintain regular communication with yard staff and dispatch.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
