About The Position

Requirements

• Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance (in lieu of a degree we will consider equivalent related experience)
• Three (3) years of increasingly responsible technical experience in finance or accounting
• One (1) or more years of supervisory or professional leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and a diverse staff by setting schedules, prioritizing tasks, evaluating performance, and supporting skill growth in time management, financial, and data reporting.
• Cultivate a high-performance work environment while managing performance issues, delivering respectful corrective action, and resolving grievances in compliance with labor contracts and HR rules.
• Lead annual and long-term financial planning, evaluate organizational performance against peer benchmarks, and deliver complex financial modeling for key initiatives, efficiency projects, and strategic restructuring.
• Design comprehensive financial reporting and board-level presentations while ensuring full alignment with local, state, federal, and funding source regulatory deadlines to mitigate financial risk.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, develop grant budgets, conduct complex audits to identify discrepancies, and develop corrective action plans and risk assessments that ensure compliance with legal and funding requirements.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and deliver high-level ad hoc financial analyses such as ROI, cost/benefit, and discounted cash flow models to guide senior leadership decisions and minimize organizational exposure.
• Conduct cost studies, alternative analyses, and peer benchmarking using spreadsheet and statistical tools to evaluate operational efficiency, grants, capital projects, and strategic priorities.
• Investigate complex or sensitive financial matters with professional tact, translating findings into tailored reports and presentations that meet the distinct needs of diverse internal and external audiences.
