About The Position

The Math Learning Center (MLC), a nonprofit education organization, seeks an experienced, hands-on marketing and communications leader to strengthen its brand, connect educators with its products and services, and expand its reach. The Director of Communications leads the communications team and collaborates across the organization to turn organizational priorities into campaigns, content, and customer engagement. The role combines strategic direction with direct execution, including integrated marketing, messaging and content, marketing technology and analytics, and conference, trade show, and event marketing. It also manages and optimizes Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, uses campaign and customer data to improve results, and develops efficient marketing workflows. The Director sets team priorities and work plans, coaches and develops team members, and establishes processes and tools for high-quality, consistent, efficient, measurable work. In partnership with leadership, the role also coordinates internal communications, including staff updates, all-staff meetings, and presentations, to support employee engagement and organizational alignment. MLC develops mathematics curriculum and resources, including Bridges in Mathematics, and its work reaches more than 80,000 elementary teachers nationwide.
