About The Position
Grand Paradise Deli & Truck Stop is seeking a Part-Time Custodian/Stocker to ensure a clean, safe, well-stocked, and welcoming store environment for customers. This role also includes general maintenance when needed. The position is 20 hours per week, located in Pine Grove, Louisiana, with store hours from Monday to Sunday, 4 am to 9 pm. The compensation is $12/hour, paid bi-weekly via direct deposit.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen.
- Must be dependable and take pride in cleaning.
- Able to stand and walk for extended an extended period of time.
- Frequent bending, stretching, reaching, and carrying up to 50lbs.
- Applicable candidates will be required to submit authorization and successfully complete Pre-Employment Screening: Criminal Background Investigation and Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Test.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, and provide a friendly, courteous, and welcoming environment for customers.
- Maintain a clean and inviting appeal by cleaning the parking lot, wiping down pumps, and trash disposal.
- Keep restrooms clean & stocked with supplies, maintain a clean and organized dining area, trash disposal, sweep and mop floors, wipe and dust counters, shelves, and clean and sanitize cooler doors and windows.
- Neatly stock shelves on delivery days, bag and stock ice, stock coolers, maintain fountain drink supplies and provide general support to administration, deli, and cashiers as needed.
- Report any needed repairs, replacements, or safety hazards to management.
