About The Position
As a part-time or full-time Dispatcher for Reston Limousine, you will be responsible for dispatching drivers & vehicles based on workload. Immediate needs! This is an onsite position! Available Shifts: AM, PM and overnight for both full-time & part-time openings. Reston Limousine is a family-owned, employee-focused business since 1990, dedicated to providing a variety of transportation solutions that exceed clients' expectations through a commitment to safety, excellent service, and lasting relationships. The company has experienced continuous growth, supported by full-time training, safety management, and an on-site Operations Center that includes a 24/7 dispatch center and a dedicated detailing and maintenance/repair facility. Reston Limousine has earned the highest safety ratings from the U.S. Department of Transportation and U.S. Department of Defense.
Requirements
- Experience in Client Services preferably in the transportation, courier, or trucking industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Solid geographic knowledge of the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area
- 1-3 years of related work experience
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Problem-solving skills when dealing with clients, logical issues, and day-to-day workload.
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Passenger Driver or Delivery Experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with drivers and clients.
- Schedule and dispatch drivers & vehicles based on workload.
- Update dispatch logs, spreadsheets, and systems
- Monitor and communicate with our shuttle ops team.
