About The Position
This opportunity is for a Courier Manager in Memphis, TN. The role involves leading logistics and distribution operations of the laboratory, supporting the Operations Manager with organizational goals, developing and inspiring a team of employees, managing departmental resources, optimizing processes, maximizing profitability, interacting with clients, and championing safety, compliance, and quality control. The company is a leader in clinical laboratory solutions, seeking individuals with leadership potential, strong people skills, a big-picture perspective, and a drive to succeed. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
- Physical capability of regular standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 50lbs).
Nice To Haves
- Completion of some college level courses.
- Previous supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process by leading logistics and distribution operations of the laboratory.
- Support the Operations Manager with organizational goals and objectives, including developing and inspiring your team of employees.
- Manage departmental resources, optimize processes, and maximize profitability.
