About The Position

A locally owned company is hiring a Warehouse Fulfillment Associate to perform daily warehouse duties in Charlotte, NC, and the surrounding area. The role is primarily on first shift, with occasional after-hours and weekend work. Pay is $20.00–$21.00 per hour, paid weekly, and based on verifiable experience. The position involves operating warehouse equipment and vehicles, loading and unloading freight, sorting freight, following routes and instructions, and completing required documentation. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card and be at least 25 years old for insurance reasons. Employment offers are contingent on passing a background check; the posting also notes third-party criminal background, drug, and motor vehicle record checks.

Requirements

Have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
Be at least 25 years old due to insurance requirements.
Have experience driving 24–26-foot box trucks with liftgates, cargo vans, and forklifts.
Be familiar with forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks or dollies.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Have a professional appearance and demeanor.
Be reliable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy clients.
Be familiar with using smartphones and tablets.
Pass a background check with no felonies or DUI convictions in the past seven years.

Nice To Haves

Previous commercial driving experience.
Warehouse experience; one year is preferred.
A clean criminal background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record.
Flexibility in schedule.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform daily warehouse duties.
Drive 24–26-foot box trucks with liftgates, cargo vans, and forklifts.
Load and unload trucks at origin and destination by hand or using a pallet jack, cart, or hand truck.
Sort freight in a warehouse setting.
Follow instructions and routing to meet or exceed client expectations.
Complete and submit required documentation.
Work safely, follow instructions, and communicate as necessary.
Perform other duties assigned by the Branch Manager.
