The Manufacturing Technician II for a satellite branch is responsible for a wide variety of functions including the assembly of products, welding, painting, preparing products for shipment, loading, and unloading of trucks, and maintaining accurate job transaction paperwork. A Manufacturing Technician’s time is split performing cutting and crimping operations to assemble our hose product line, makeup pipe, inspection, painting pipes, elbows, and other weldments, along with supporting the warehouse activities. The role is critical for customer safety as the product is used at the point of placement to control the flow and location of concrete being pumped under pressure. Additionally, the Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for locating and picking parts, transacting material moves with handheld scanner to maintain inventory accuracy, labeling, and preparing loads for shipment, receiving raw materials or stock, and loading or unloading trucks. The Manufacturing Technician II is expected to perform many job tasks even outside of role to delight the customer. The satellite warehouse, manufacturing, and office prides themselves on cross training and dependability for the customer. A strong work drive, self-motivation, problem solving, and teamwork are critical for this position.
