About The Position

Requirements

• Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Must be willing to participate in 24 hour on-call rotations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Current Epic Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, or Specialty Pharmacy certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to function as a project leader and project member.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
• Ability to apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for the purpose of problem resolution.
• 3-5 years of experience implementing/supporting Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, or other Epic applications.
• Must be able to provide proof of work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Project Coordination / management experience
• Experience with quality programs and reporting
• Additional Epic module certifications, especially EpicCare Ambulatory

Responsibilities

• Develop, upgrade, enhance, and support Clinical Information systems.
• Independently maintain and manage large modules of an enterprise clinical information system or department specialty system.
• Facilitate decisions and work efforts affecting applications and patient care practices.
• Participate in the analysis and design of data communication links between systems.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call rotations.
• Function as a project leader and project member.
• Apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for problem resolution.
