About The Position

The Senior Clinical Application Analyst supports effective use of the electronic medical record, financial applications, and other healthcare technology systems in a rural critical access hospital environment. The role partners with clinical, operational, financial, vendor, and information technology teams to design, build, configure, test, troubleshoot, and optimize applications aligned with patient care and operational needs. The analyst works independently, shifts between priorities, communicates clearly with end users, and uses sound judgment to escalate issues affecting patient safety, privacy, security, access, revenue cycle, or business continuity. The analyst works on projects of broad scope or complexity and may lead smaller-scope projects, coordinating tasks, communicating progress, identifying risks, documenting decisions, and escalating issues as appropriate. This senior-level role independently manages complex application support needs, coordinates assigned projects, may mentor or support less experienced analysts, and serves as a primary resource for high-impact clinical, financial, and operational application issues.
