About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Problem-solving skills for handling standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers or Bar Waiter/Waitress.
• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and bitters to prepare cocktails and drinks.
• Serve wine, draft or bottled beer, and soft drinks.
• Collect money for drinks and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and order liquor and supplies when inventory is low.
• Arrange bottles and glasses for attractive display.
• Slice and prepare fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Serve food as requested by customers.
• Serve drinks in accordance with Florida Beverage Laws.
• Upsell drinks and liquor to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
