About The Position

Unidine is hiring a full-time Waiter/Waitress for Mooring Park in Naples, Florida. The role takes food and beverage orders and efficiently serves dining room guests. The schedule is full time, with days and hours that may vary; availability to work weekends and holidays is required. The pay range is $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. The position involves welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing attentive service. The Waiter/Waitress maintains food-handling, sanitation, and cash-handling standards; understands menu items, ingredients, specialized diets, and allergens; and communicates with kitchen staff to ensure orders and special requests are handled correctly. The role also includes setting up and maintaining the dining area, addressing guest concerns, protecting confidential information, operating dining-service equipment, and assisting other departments during events. Requirements

At least 2 years of prior fine dining experience.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet dining room guests promptly and warmly, take food and beverage orders, and follow established service steps.
Deliver food promptly and professionally while following safe food-handling and sanitation standards.
Check in with guests and assist with additional needs or requests.
Understand menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations when requested, and note preferences.
Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
Follow proper cash-handling procedures and collect tickets.
Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests.
Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
Set up the dining room before service and maintain it during and after service in accordance with sanitation standards.
Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
