About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to work safely with delicate equipment and china/glass/silver
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Understanding of basic sanitation, including safely reading and following instructions on various equipment and chemicals/cleaning agents
• Ability to communicate regularly with associates and supervisors
• Ability to follow daily checklists and report any issues or challenges to management team
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Leading the stewarding team
• Ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Overseeing dishwashing operations
• Managing waste management
• Managing banquet equipment inventory
• Overseeing receiving activities
• Completing cleaning projects
• Monitoring staffing coverage
• Assigning daily tasks
• Reinforcing safety and sanitation standards
• Working closely with culinary and banquet teams to support successful hotel and event operations
