About The Position

Remote is seeking a Benefits Operations Specialist for the APAC region to join their EOR (Employer of Record) Operations team. This individual contributor role is crucial in supporting clients and employees with global employment benefits. The specialist will navigate and advise on complex international employment landscapes, directly influencing customer journey and employee experience with benefits across over 90 countries. The role offers an opportunity for professional development as an international Benefits Specialist within a dynamic and curious team. The position reports to the Benefits Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience in HR Operations Employee Benefits, ideally in the context of delivering US PEO services.
  • Obsessed with providing an excellent customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact internally and externally at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively across various tech tools.
  • You are a manager of one.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working remotely is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide delightful support to Employees and Clients regarding Benefits in multiple areas, including plan attributes (pricing, coverage, claims), enrollment/unenrollment, invoicing/billing, and platform usage (Remote and vendor platforms).
  • Process and resolve tickets and escalations in Zendesk/email.
  • Execute data-related tasks with care and precision (preparation, entry, download, etc.).
  • Help define, detail, and execute Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the Benefits team and other Remote departments to analyze customer needs and deliver solutions and experiences.
  • Provide analytical, administrative, and technical support for maintaining benefits programs to ensure smooth administration of plans and policies.
  • Maintain operations process documents and identify automation possibilities to streamline processes.
  • Be able to start things up and get things done ('scout to scale').
  • Act as an internal and external champion of Remote's values and Benefits team's goals.
