About The Position

At AAA Northeast, the Corporate Travel Advisor serves as a trusted travel expert and strategic partner, managing air, hotel, car rental, and rail travel for employees across the organization while delivering a Five Diamond customer experience. By building strong relationships with travelers, business leaders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, this role provides consultative travel solutions, ensures policy compliance, and helps drive the continued success and evolution of the corporate travel program. This position also supports event planning activities, travel policy compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience booking and managing corporate travel arrangements.
  • Knowledge of airline, hotel, rail, and car rental policies and procedures.
  • Experience using Sabre GDS.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and travel-related systems.

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process airline ticket exchanges, reissues, refunds, and voids using Sabre.
  • Monitor airline policy updates, fare rules, and travel requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with supplier agreements and negotiated travel programs.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Air & Travel Services to research, source, and coordinate travel needs related to corporate events and meetings.
  • Assist with travel logistics for event attendees and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary travel advisor and trusted resource for AAA Northeast employees, delivering exceptional service and a Five Diamond traveler experience.
  • Consult with travelers and stakeholders to coordinate air, hotel, car rental, and rail arrangements that align with business needs, travel policies, and budget considerations.
  • Manage travel reservations, itinerary changes, disruptions, and traveler support before, during, and after travel.
  • Promote compliance with corporate travel policies, preferred supplier programs, and established booking procedures.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, supplier updates, and market conditions.
  • Recommend enhancements to travel processes, procedures, and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the department's procedure manual.
  • Support additional departmental projects and responsibilities as assigned.
