About The Position

Boscov’s Travel is hiring a full-time, in-office Leisure Travel Advisor to help clients plan and book domestic and international travel. The role involves discussing clients’ travel goals, coordinating arrangements and budgets, booking travel and related documentation, and helping ensure customers receive accurate, high-quality service. The advisor will use travel software to book trip components, including travel insurance, and maintain awareness of current travel restrictions and safety protocols. Candidates with a passion for travel but limited experience may be considered for a 10-week training course.

Requirements

Two years of leisure travel selling experience required.
Air travel booking automation experience; Sabre preferred.
Understand or be willing to learn industry standards and best practices for travel, payment, and expenses.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Discuss clients’ travel goals and coordinate travel plans as requested.
Book travel arrangements and documentation and establish budgets.
Stay aware of current travel restrictions and safety protocols for transportation modes and destinations.
Use travel software to book all aspects of clients’ trips, including travel insurance.
Support the travel team with day-to-day administration of the travel program.
Make travel arrangements and assist customers with planning and booking.
Manage relationships with key travel vendors.
Provide customers with an accurate, high-quality experience.
Create domestic and international air, hotel, car, and ground transportation arrangements.
