Leisure Travel Advisor
About The Position
Boscov’s Travel is hiring a full-time, in-office Leisure Travel Advisor to help clients plan and book memorable trips. The role is suited to an energetic, friendly, motivated person passionate about helping others travel. Candidates with at least two years of travel-industry or sales/customer-service experience are sought, though the company is willing to train the right person. Those without travel experience may receive a 10-week in-depth training course. The advisor discusses clients’ travel goals, coordinates and books trip arrangements and documentation, establishes budgets, and uses travel software to book trip components, including travel insurance. The role also involves keeping current on travel restrictions and safety protocols and supporting the travel team’s day-to-day administration.
Requirements
- Two years of leisure travel selling experience is required.
- Air travel booking automation experience; Sabre is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Discuss and coordinate clients’ travel goals, including booking travel documentation and establishing budgets.
- Maintain awareness of current travel restrictions and safety protocols for all modes of transportation and destinations.
- Use travel software to book all aspects of clients’ trips, including travel insurance.
- Support the travel team with day-to-day administration of the travel program.
- Make travel arrangements and assist customers with planning and booking them.
- Manage relationships with key travel vendors.
- Help ensure teams provide customers with an accurate, high-quality experience.
- Book domestic and international air, car, hotel, and ground transportation arrangements for clients.
- Understand or be willing to learn industry standards and best practices for travel, payment, and expenses.
