About The Position

The Travel Advisor sells travel agency products and services and provides travel-related member entitlement services to members and non-members. The role focuses on meeting sales goals while delivering high-quality service, building repeat business, and educating members about other products and services. Advisors may make outbound calls and participate in club social media programs to support goals, and are trained to handle multiple transactions without transferring members to other staff. The role also requires maintaining the confidentiality of client and member information in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies. They advise clients on travel requirements, protection plans, and trip advisories; research and compare supplier rates; and recommend options that fit each client’s requested experience, budget, and needs. They also issue international driving permits and passport photos, use travel and accounting systems to fulfill requests, and maintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation. The position requires product and industry knowledge, compliance with organizational procedures, achievement of sales and cross-selling goals, and attention to service quality. Advisors independently analyze cruise and tour packages, anticipate problems and delays, resolve difficult situations when possible, and seek management support for escalated issues.
