About The Position
This position is for an Undergraduate Course Assistant for ANAT 261 - Intro to Dynamic Histology at McGill University. The assistant will supervise student-led groups during weekly 2-hour lab sessions and support the TA in running the laboratory smoothly. Responsibilities include being familiar with course content, answering student questions, aiding in the marking of quizzes and assignments, and encouraging group learning while assisting individuals in need.
Requirements
- Current B.Sc. student in biological sciences (i.e., Biology, Biochemistry, Anatomy and Cell Biology, Physiology).
- Must have previously taken ANAT 261 and passed with a minimum grade of B+.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written) are essential.
Responsibilities
- Supervise student-led groups during one of the three 2-hour labs on a weekly basis.
- Be familiar and up to date with course content.
- Answer student questions.
- Aid in the marking of quizzes and assignments.
- Encouraging group learning and help individuals in need.
