About The Position

This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach Portfolio Management (ADM3352A) during the Fall 2026 academic period at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. The course covers modern portfolio theory, capital asset pricing model, arbitrage pricing theory, portfolio selection, efficient markets, active portfolio management, and performance measurement. Requirements

  • Master's or MBA degree (PhD in Finance preferred) or a professional designation.
  • Extensive knowledge of issues related to portfolio management.
  • Demonstrate recent professional experience in the area of the course.
  • Competence in a second language (passive).
  • Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
  • Must be a current student eligible for a Student Part-Time Professor position.
