About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Operations Management (ADM3301A) during the Fall 2026 academic period at the Telfer School of Management. The course covers the nature and context of Operations Management for manufacturing and service sectors, including operations strategy, supply chain management, planning and controlling operations (forecasting, aggregate planning, inventory control, MRP, ERP), and quality management. The teaching method will be delivered online (synchronous live), though this may change due to health measures or other reasons. Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in operations management.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience in operations management and knowledge of the area, as per the course description.
  • Must have teaching experience, preferably in the area of the course.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (priority given to these candidates).
  • Must be able to apply using a worker profile in Workday if currently an active employee of the University of Ottawa.
