The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical role in Bristol Myers Squibb's unique customer model, aimed at delivering impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs) to drive the adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients. The primary function of the TAS is to generate demand for BMS medicines within their assigned portfolio. This is achieved by engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue, consistent with the product label, and leveraging new ways of working. The role involves building and maintaining strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs), community-based physicians/HCPs, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum, serving as their primary point of contact. The TAS collaborates with other BMS functions as needed to enhance the overall Customer Experience (Cx) by addressing HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role prioritizes the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results, performance objectives, and exemplifying BMS values. The TAS role is field-based, requiring significant time spent engaging with external customers.
