The Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical field-based role within Bristol Myers Squibb's customer model, responsible for driving demand for BMS medicines within their assigned portfolio for appropriate patients. The TAS engages Health Care Providers (HCPs) with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through scientific dialogue consistent with product labels, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3 tools. This role involves building and maintaining strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum. The TAS acts as the primary point of contact for HCPs, liaising with other BMS functions to ensure a high Customer Experience by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. The position prioritizes the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results and performance objectives, all while exemplifying BMS values. TAS are expected to spend 100% of their time in the field with external customers.
