About The Position

The PSR Float 2 position involves traveling to various clinic locations and other clerical areas. The primary responsibilities include coordinating the scheduling of all surgical patients, verifying referrals, and obtaining authorization for surgeries, tests, and outpatient clinic visits. This role also encompasses data collection, documentation, and processing within specified timeframes, all performed under the supervision of a physician or licensed staff person. The individual will also perform other duties as needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience or minimum one year of medical office experience with Receptionist vocational training required
  • Able to read
  • Able to write legibly
  • Able to speak in English with professional quality
  • Able to use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Able to operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
  • Able to collaborate and accept direction
  • Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone
  • Able to think critically
  • Able to manage multiple assignments effectively
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload

  • Able to recall information with accuracy
  • Able to pay close attention to detail

  • Requires and must maintain valid California driver's license
  • Requires and must maintain auto liability insurance
  • Requires and must maintain a good driving record
