Requirements

• At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate safety goals and objectives; address unsafe conditions related to the landfill.
• Partner with maintenance to keep equipment in working order and compliant with safety standards.
• Oversee safety and accident-prevention programs, maintain a safe and productive work environment, and implement effective loss-control and safety programs.
• Encourage employee participation in safety through personal commitment and outreach.
• Provide customer service that meets or exceeds expectations and resolve unusual service requests, equipment breakdowns and schedule changes through timely communication.
• Work with customers to resolve issues and improve the customer experience; represent the Company positively to promote satisfaction and loyalty.
• Establish productivity goals, ensure adherence to operating standards, and manage labor hours and disposal expenses against established plans.
• Execute operational plans to achieve or exceed division budget goals.
• Support service delivery and maintenance, including the operational role in fleet quality and maintenance.
• Create a collaborative and communicative team environment and foster employee engagement.
• Develop team talent, understand employees’ career goals, and coach them for advancement.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
