About The Position

The Supervisor position at Pure Hockey is a customer-focused retail role in a leading, growing retail setting. Supervisors work independently and as part of a team to support store operations and positively impact customers. They assist with customer service, sales, merchandising, cashiering, inventory, and staff development while partnering with management on store expectations and performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
Ability to train, coach, develop, and motivate employees.
Effective interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience using a computer and handheld devices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, respond to questions, encourage engagement with merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service.
Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
Assist with merchandising, operations, sales, and customer service.
Partner with management to establish and communicate store metrics and expectations, including sales, visual presentation, operations, safety, loss prevention, human resources, payroll and scheduling, and training.
Train and develop staff so they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by management.
Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
