About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid driver's license and at least two years of recent driving experience.
• At least two years of experience in the hotel industry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of local establishments, businesses, and the surrounding community.
• Driving record must meet the needs of the employer's insurance carrier.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Ability to see objects and people at close and distant ranges.
• Ability to grasp handles, carry bundles, and lift packages.
• Ability to continually push, lift, and carry up to 65 pounds throughout the hotel during the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and help unload luggage from their vehicles.
• Park vehicles safely and efficiently, and secure and mark key tags with the vehicle location, guest name, license plate number, and type of vehicle.
• Assist departing guests by loading luggage into their vehicles.
• Respond to guest inquiries and explain hotel products and services in person and by telephone.
• Provide current hotel information and maintain knowledge of local activities and establishments to answer questions, make recommendations, and give directions.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
• Create and maintain schedules and staffing levels for the Valet Team.
• Ensure valet billing is accurate and posted promptly.
• Manage and respond to valet claims.
• Motivate and coach the team, ensuring members are trained and perform at a high level.
• Offer leadership suggestions to improve property operations and services.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
