About The Position

The Program Supervisor/Group Home Manager oversees a program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role facilitates implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and handles administrative duties, including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. The supervisor leads a team of Caregivers and also provides direct support, including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. Duties are divided among direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision. The role also facilitates community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or transporting them to work and other activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of related work experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
Other licensure or certification where required by the regulatory authority.
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and individuals served.
Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.

Responsibilities

Facilitate implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
