Treasury Management - Sales Associate III

About The Position

As a Treasury Management Sales Associate III, you will generate new cash management business and expansion of existing business relationships, focusing on clients with annual revenues of $10MM and up, and develop a strategic and ongoing sales plan. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including utilizing knowledge of competition and industry best practices regarding appropriate treasury management products and services, educating relationship managers and other associates for the purpose of developing business, and maintaining a high level of company and client confidentiality. As the Sales Associate you will be directly responsible for identifying, analyzing, selling and supporting treasury management products and services to established clients and targeted prospective corporate clients, and work closely with Commercial Relationship Managers and Specialty lines of business in achieving specific service charge and deposit goals. Additionally, are expected to solidify client retention by providing a superior level of client service, assess client needs and recommends effective strategies; negotiates pricing to optimize profitability of products or service solutions, and generate revenue from the sale of treasury management products and services. You will attain established individual, department and Bank goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs, build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • 15+ years of previous Treasury Management Sales experience.

  • Advanced degree or certifications related to field.
  • 20+ years of progressive Treasury Management Sales experience.
  • CTP certification
  • Demonstrates strong leadership with broad knowledge of Treasury Management
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Experience utilizing competitive analysis documents to prepare RFPs
  • Clear understanding of policies and procedures and able to enforce compliance regulations
  • Exceptional internal and external client service objectives
