About The Position

We are hiring a full-time Experienced Refrigeration Technician. This position requires an individual who is a self-starter and can perform their daily duties with little supervision. Further details will be provided during the interview process and in the job description. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Work Place.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience servicing, repairing, and/or installing Commercial HVAC-R equipment
  • Experience servicing Walk-In Coolers, Walk-In Freezers, Refrigeration Pre-Tables, Under Counter Refrigerators and Freezers, Commercial Roof Top Units
  • Experience servicing the following equipment manufacturers: Master-bilt, Hussmann, Trenton, Kairak / Traulsen, Silver King, Randell, True, Scottsman, Manitowoc, Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Goodman, etc.
  • Experience working with the following Refrigerants: R410A, R22, R404, R448, R449, R134, R290, R407C
  • Experience servicing and repairing Compressors, Coils, Motors, and Electrical components
  • Proficiency with Diagnostic Tools
  • Must have personal hand tools available (e.g., refrigerant gauges, Drill, Volt Meter, Temperature probes, Hand tools)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to pass regular drug testing
  • Open to background checks
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to be "On-Call" and available after hours for repairs
  • Ability to climb and balance on ladders
  • Ability to stand/ or sit for long periods at a time
  • No fear of heights
  • 608 Universal EPA Card required
  • Valid Florida Driver's License required

Responsibilities

  • Servicing, repairing, and/or installing Commercial HVAC-R equipment
  • Servicing Walk-In Coolers, Walk-In Freezers, Refrigeration Pre-Tables, Under Counter Refrigerators and Freezers, Commercial Roof Top Units
  • Servicing and repairing Compressors, Coils, Motors, and Electrical components
  • Performing diagnostic tests
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Being available for on-call duties and after-hours repairs
  • Climbing and balancing on ladders
  • Standing or sitting for long periods
