About The Position

Requirements

• No educational requirement.
• No experience required, a willingness to learn is needed.
• As part of the hiring process and in accordance with Florida law, healthcare candidates who accept a job offer are required to complete a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in the preparation of menu items as per menu requirements following designated recipes.
• Prepare plates and garnish food items to be served to residents and guests.
• Maintain any buffet and salad bar stations and directly serves residents and guests.
• Assist in the preparation of resident room service orders and to-go/take-out orders.
• Prepare food items as needed for upcoming menu offerings.
• Ensure food safety by monitoring food temperatures and using proper food storage techniques in accordance with state and local standards.
