About The Position

Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (PDN) – RN/LPN – 1:1 Ratio. Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring RNs and LPNs for 1:1 pediatric private duty cases in Missouri. You'll work one-on-one with a child or young adult in their home, providing focused, skilled care. The role offers multiple open cases, allowing for schedule flexibility (days, nights, or weekends). Cases vary in acuity, often involving trach, ventilator, or G-tube care. This position is ideal for hospital nurses seeking meaningful one-on-one care, student nurses looking for flexible experience, or semi-retired nurses wanting rewarding part-time work.

Requirements

  • Active RN or LPN license in good standing in Missouri
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Experience providing nursing care in a home setting for patients with complex medical needs is a plus.
  • Pediatric experience is a plus (training provided!)
  • Hands-on experience with specific pediatric home-care needs or equipment is a plus.
  • Experience partnering closely with families and care teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with trach, ventilator, or G-tube care

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to a pediatric or young adult patient in their home
  • Manage complex care needs, which may include trach/vent management, G-tube feeding, and related monitoring
