Licensed Practical Nurse- (LPN)- Pediatric 1:1 School Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team in Mercer County, New Jersey. As a pediatric 1:1 school nurse, the LPN provides individualized nursing care to one client in a school setting and collaborates with school staff, the client’s family, and health care providers. Nurses may care for children of different ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels. The opportunity is suited to a nurse who enjoys working with children and values a supportive environment. The office offers onboarding and training, including paid training and shadowing, and provides electronic charting using Statewise, simulation labs, short commutes by matching nurses with nearby cases, and 24/7 on-call clinical support. School nursing offers traditional day-shift hours in home or school settings, one-to-one care, and the opportunity to build client relationships and support a child’s daily success and safety. The role offers flexible scheduling with no minimums and may be full-time, part-time, or per diem. Pay is $32–$35 per hour based on qualifications. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- Be CPR certified.
Responsibilities
