About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for adult and/or pediatric care to join its Hudson County skilled nursing team. The role provides one-on-one private duty nursing for clients in their homes, with schedules chosen based on the nurse’s availability. Clients range in age from infants to geriatric patients and have varied diagnoses and acuity levels. Nurses can expect traditional 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, short commutes near home, and ongoing clinical support.

BAYADA prepares LPNs through paid training in the office, in the home, and online; practice in adult and pediatric simulation labs; and around-the-clock clinical support by phone. Electronic charting is completed using Statewise. Compensation is listed as $30.00–$35.00 per hour, with $35.00–$40.00 per hour for ongoing weekend shifts. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is available. The posting also mentions a $1,200 nurse referral bonus.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• One year of LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
• Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
