About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for adult and/or pediatric care to join its Hudson County skilled nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality one-on-one care to clients in their homes, with clients ranging in age from infant to geriatric and spanning a variety of diagnoses and acuity levels. Nurses travel to one nearby client home on a schedule they choose and provide private duty nursing in traditional 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. The position offers flexible scheduling with no minimums and compensation of $30.00–$35.00 per hour, or $35.00–$40.00 per hour for ongoing weekend shifts.

BAYADA provides paid training starting on day one, including training in the office, in the home, and online; access to adult and pediatric simulation labs; around-the-clock clinical support by phone; and electronic charting using Statewise. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• Have one year of LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on, one-on-one care to clients.
