Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric ER
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will use critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality care to all patients. The nurse will use the nursing process of triage, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and assist in organizing patient care activities as assigned. This is a full-time night-shift position in the Pediatric ER at St. Mary's Medical Center. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, paid over 24 months. St. Mary's Medical Center is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach and part of the Palm Beach Health Network. It is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center. Pediatric services are provided at Palm Beach Children's Hospital at St. Mary's Medical Center, described as the only dedicated children's hospital between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, with 24/7 dedicated pediatric emergency and trauma care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
- Florida Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- CPI certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- PALS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- TNCC certification: within 2 years of hire or transfer for inexperienced candidates, or within 1 year for experienced candidates.
