About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Ability to multitask and support numerous referrals and priorities at one time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and collaborate with cross-functional team members across Sales and Operations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare or medical billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery by engaging with patients, referral sources, Sales, pharmacy, and nursing.
• Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secure patients’ upfront payment, including helping them identify payment options and directing them to financial assistance programs when appropriate.
• Support activities that help ensure clean claims on hold and manage denials, including following up on missing paperwork.
• Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
