About The Position
The Patient Access Representative performs all aspects of the role, including registering patients, obtaining appropriate insurance information, and scheduling patient appointments. The employee is expected to maintain department quality standards and provide exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position at the East Clinic, scheduled for 36 hours per week, with a work shift of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of clerical experience.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic medical terminology knowledge.
- Previous patient registration and/or insurance verification experience in a medical setting.
Responsibilities
