At Cheekwood, the Parking team manages traffic flow, directs vehicles to designated parking areas, ensures safety, and provides customer service to ensure a smooth and organized parking experience for attendees. Requirements

  • Must have the availability to work weekends and evenings and willing to walk and stand for long periods in all types of weather conditions.

  • Knowledge of Cheekwood's history and basic facts of interest to visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patrons to the available parking areas, ensuring efficient traffic flow and preventing congestion.
  • Report any issues to the Security Manager.
  • Maintain a professional appearance when helping the public.
  • Respond quickly to incidents.
  • Stay in touch via radio.
  • File accurate incident reports.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned to support the operations team.
  • Maintains a clean and neat uniform and appearance.
  • Responsible for positive interaction with the visitors answering questions while providing clear directions to each of the parking lots.
  • Becomes knowledgeable of Cheekwood’s history and basic facts of interest to visitors.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate on the radio with other employees while monitoring the parking spaces in their lots.
