The Treating Engineer Helper's primary function is to assist in the handling, manufacture, and processing of lumber and round stock. This role involves operating power tools and equipment as directed. The position also requires performing duties of Inspector, Machine Operator 2, and Laborer as needed, operating material handling equipment, performing inventory counts, and assisting in the loading of railroad cars, trucks, and trams. Responsibilities include cleanup of yard, processing systems, or other areas, assisting as a helper in other assigned duties, changing treatment charges, identifying and inspecting materials for conformance, inspecting binders and cables, and moving and storing charges. The role also involves participating and contributing to the company safety program and performing other related duties as assigned.
