About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a seasonal Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role involves loading and unloading shipments, picking and preparing customer orders, and using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused.

The position is scheduled for the second shift, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime is required based on business needs. Pay is $20.35 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Reach Truck operating experience.
• At least 1 year of Dock Stocker operating experience.
• At least 6 months of experience with a Warehouse Management System such as Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, or AS400.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• At least 6 months of forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of Order Picker or Cherry Picker operating experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks by hand or with material-handling equipment.
• Pick customer orders using an RF scan gun.
• Box and wrap pallets for shipment.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
