Press Brake Operator B - 1st Shift (6:45am - 3:15pm)

PERLICK CORPORATION•Milwaukee, WI
•$0 - $30•Onsite

About The Position

The Press Brake Operator B sets up, adjusts, and operates press brakes to perform forming and bending operations on materials of various gauges to close dimensional requirements. The operator positions and secures forming dies, adjusts ram stroke to suit material gauge and required angles or contours, and sets stop gauges to match specifications, templates, or samples. Limited setup knowledge is acceptable when initially bidding for the position, but machine-operation experience is required. The operator must be capable of performing basic press brake setups within six months and continue learning more advanced setups over time. Established efficiency and productivity standards must be met. The role includes determining bend sequences for multiple-pass work, improvising setups for special shapes, and working from drawings, specifications, templates, and samples. The operator uses measurement and layout tools to set up and inspect work, proceeds with minimum supervision, and is responsible for the quality of their work. Work is subject to process and final inspection. This is an onsite, first-shift position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, scheduled from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Sponsorship and relocation are not available.
