About The Position

Flex is seeking a Press Brake Operator in Dallas, Texas. The role operates a press brake machine to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates according to specifications. The position reports to the Operations Manager and works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, which focuses on critical digital infrastructure and end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating a press brake machine.
Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans, including blueprints and drawings.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic computer and math skills.
Physically able to operate the press brake.
Able to stand for prolonged periods and push, pull, lift, and carry materials.
Able to lift 35 pounds at a time.
Must wear personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work.

Responsibilities

Operate a press brake to manufacture parts from sheet metal or metal plates.
Prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
Ensure sufficient raw materials are available.
Measure and align materials.
Inspect finished products for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on the press brake.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
