About The Position

The Press Brake Operator uses press brakes and miscellaneous equipment to create, shape, and customize materials into forms specified by fabrication plans. The role requires reading and interpreting detailed and complex instructions to produce the desired forms. The position is full-time, first shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with availability to work Saturdays as needed. Daifuku is a U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems. It designs, manufactures, integrates, and installs intralogistics solutions, including conveyor and sortation systems, order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.

Requirements

At least 2 years of related experience.
Ability to read exact measurements on a tape measure without assistance.
Ability to read blueprints.
Math skills.
Knowledge of standard and metric measurements.
Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Team orientation.
Crane operation certification required.
Forklift operation certification required.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Availability to work on Saturdays as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
LOTO certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Follow safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Set up and operate press brakes and other equipment on parts of varied shapes and sizes.
Check products against standards to ensure conformance to specifications.
Follow specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.
Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces.
Comply with Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
Ensure sustainable process outputs that support continuous improvement, industry performance, and customer satisfaction.
