About The Position

The Press Brake Operator sets up and operates CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications. The role requires attention to detail, blueprint-reading ability, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Work takes place in a manufacturing/industrial facility and involves lifting, bending, and standing. The schedule is 1st shift, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Friday work about once a month from 5:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. The pay rate is $30.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 5 years of press brake operating experience.
Experience operating CNC press brake machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of metal fabrication, bending techniques, and tooling.
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Experience with Cincinnati press brake machines.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Cincinnati press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Select appropriate tooling and adjust machines as needed.
Verify part dimensions, angles, and tolerances using measuring instruments.
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
